I finally got to spend the night in my new place. Hooray!
I did have the shutters closed but I woke up quite disoriented so I think in future I probably won't close them while I'm sleeping. I had absolutely no idea what time it was or whether I'd slept all night or half the day as well. So I opened the shutters to be greeted by the sunrise.
Bedroom definitely faces east then. I don't necessarily want to make a habit of waking up at six in the morning but it was lovely to watch.
